Mista Karoge is never slowing down.. Imagine shooting hoops in a hot, sunny afternoon. Then freestyling to some machine gun beats.. Phew..! Out of breath but ji-enjoyed to the fullest. (We should jaribu these teenie episodes once in a while..)

I attended the 1st Slam Jam Tournament kule Upper Hill High School as a karaoke supplier. We are trying to sell the karoge concept to the teenies. "They download the most from the internet." So says Insyda Magazine the organizers of the Sprite Slam Jam. Basically, karoge is local Kenyan songs downloaded to mobile devices as sing along videos.

Despite the soaring temperatures and warm soda local celebs were wunderbar representing with special appearances from Ogopa's Kenzo and Avril; Calif Records Size 8 and Kendi. Other superior performances were delivered by Pacho Entertainment featuring Rap Damu and Kenrazy in the flesh. Of course, Jomino was in the building with V6 and Kevo pounding the stage with their powerful vocals. All was happening while the basketball warriors battled it out in the two basket ball courts. All branded Sprite and Brookside - milk or soda? (Will post mobile videos once I hook up a data cable!)

See you inside?
